Abstract
The health effects of electric and magnetic fields may be determined by recording the electric and magnetic field intensity in the work place. The standards available for conducting a measurement survey are presented. There are two dozen or more instruments available. The selection of the proper instrument to perform the measurements is critical. The methods and pitfalls associated with conducting an electric or magnetic survey are discussed. A list of the instruments available is included
