Abstract :
One of the major challenges for LTE (long term evolution) of 3G networks is efficient mobility management. This paper discusses the proposed architecture of mobile IP-RR (regional registration) and distributed dynamic architecture in the wireless communication. The aim of this paper is to provide reference to the mobility technical innovation of 3G systems evolution by exploiting mobile IP. Because there is little research in the probability of all situations on micro mobility, an analyzing model is proposed, and the probability distribution of packet loss and out-of-sequence is analyzed for LTE wireless network in this paper. At last, the optimum radius of overlap region is given. Our analysis also shows that the micro mobility has lower latency. The more important contribution of this paper is the novel analytical approach in evaluating the probability of mobility management scheme and the handoff performance
