Abstract :
This paper presents a novel active power filter for high-capacity hybrid active power filter (HHAPF) to compensate harmonics and reactive power required by nonlinear loads. If the utility voltage is distorted, APF allows similar level of distortion in the compensated source current. In this paper, the APF system combine serial resonant injected active power filter and passive power filter together, the serial resonant LC network resonance occurs in the fundamental frequency, its fundamental current impedance is approximate 0, the fundamental current will all flow to this network ,but not to flow into the coupling transformer and the inversion. The result of simulation and application confirmed that the novel APF could get a good control effect for the HHAPF.
