Abstract :
The four-level adjustable stiffness hydro-pneumatic suspension system on tracked vehicle is designed and studied in this paper.A nonlinear dynamic multibody model of tracked vehicle and road models are established by using the software RecurDyn for dynamic simulation. Several simulation conclusions are gained by inputting different road modal and suspension stiffness. The first result is only changing suspension stiffness that could not improve the ride comfort performance observably. The second result is using multibody system simulation could select appropriate parameters in the structure and performance design about vehicle suspension, that could give theory bases about active suspension controlling strategy.
