Abstract :
The design principle, aviation mechanics and stability of a vertical take-off and landing vehicle is investigated in this paper. Based on these flight parameters, structural and dynamic parameters are determined. With aids of the methods of kinematics, aerodynamic and dynamic analysis, the theoretical lift provided by this ducted lift propellers and thrust produced by forward ducted propeller are studied. The lift characteristic of ducted propeller systems, the performance of grid and the controllable stability are obtained by numerical simulation. The analysis results imply that the feasibility of this type of aviation vehicle sounds in reason.
