Abstract :
In order to maintain a stable track during low-altitude tracking Saab has developed a signal processing method. The stability of this method requires the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) to be above a certain level. By utilizing the knowledge of the speed of the tracked target the moving target indication (MTI) filter response can be optimised and, hence, the SNR can be increased.
