Abstract :
The first 1.55 μm wavelength tunable (3.5 nm wavelength range) EML device integrated with a bent waveguide DFB laser with power more than 30 mW is reported. Error free transmission over 200 km of non-DSF fiber has been demonstrated for four wavelength channels separated by 100 GHz spacing at 2.5 Gb/s
