Abstract :
Describes the development of low orbital systems of small size satellites. Studies of the general design of monitoring spacecraft aimed at monitoring ground and space situations on a regional and planetary scale are presented. The spacecraft are built on the basis of small satellites which can be placed into orbit by converted rocket launchers. The satellites provide spectral zonal images of the Earth´s surface with different spatial resolutions. The satellites are equipped with a servo platform on which the payload apparatus (viewing TV camera, low and high resolution telescopes, thermovisor) is located. The basic requirements for satellites´ orbital placement and for technical equipment are determined
