Abstract :
A method to transform omnidirectional images to panoramic images is proposed in this paper. Firstly, points of the omnidirectional image are re-projected to the cylindrical surface to construct the interpolation surface. Secondly, an improved interpolation with adaptive interpolation region is adopted. Finally, blurred edges are compensated by a modified edge-preservation interpolation method. Experimental results prove the feasibility of our method.
