Abstract :
Comparison between A-weighted sound Pressure Level (SPL) and sound quality metrics on automobile air-conditioning unit is studied in this paper. The result shows sound quality metrics are better because they are unanimous with the subjective feeling of human being. A satisfied sound quality result is obtained under controlling the vibration of the compressor. Some valuable conclusions are obtained through this experiment.
