Abstract :
This paper discusses how a Mediaworks (Educational technology arm of UC Davis), online course was checked for quality assurance focusing on interface design, features, functionalities, and performance. The features section focused on media allocation, course evaluation and course presentation while the functionality section covered the overall performance of the course design when viewed online. A brief discussion of course development procedure at Mediaworks touched on conceptual, design and development briefly discussing how tasks were assigned to each member of the team. After discussion at the course development stage, the QA procedure for Anthropology 15 is described. A section on how these requests were finally implemented in the course before final production followed. Lessons learned and thoughts to ponder conclude the paper.
