Abstract :
The learning efforts of different learning systems are often difficult to compare. In this paper, the graded mean integration method is applied to compare learning efforts with step form membership function. At first, the representation values of fuzzy numbers with step form membership function are calculated by using the graded mean integration method. Then two or more fuzzy numbers with step form membership function can be ranked by comparing their representation values. Finally, numerical examples of learning efforts of two different learning systems have been computed and then compared by using the proposed method.
