Abstract :
The critical influence of the structural and morphological properties of a thin gold metal layer deposited on glass substrates on the surface chemistry binding efficiency in surface plasmon resonance-imaging biochip systems is demonstrated in this work. Interesting variations of DNA-DNA hybridization signal is observed by using Au substrates annealed at different temperatures.
