Abstract
Proposes an associative memory system using the globally coupled map (GCM) model. In the authors´ system, a spatial frozen state is treated as a memory pattern, and the associating process is conducted by controlling the strength of each element´s chaos. The authors´ experimental results suggest that the dynamics of their associative memory system is better than that of the Hopfield model.
