Abstract :
This paper presents experimental results we obtained in multi-beamforming for space division multiple access (SDMA) with a 64-element receiving digital beamforming (DBF) antenna in the Ka-band to be used in future satellite or stratospheric communications. The results show that the antenna system can adequately form two different beams toward users using the same frequency and unique training sequences. The two transmitting antennas of users are located in different directions from the DBF antenna.
