Abstract :
A method on edge detection of image was proposed according to the correlation of the multi-scale space in wavelet analysis. The algorithm is fast and easy, in which we do correlation calculation among the adjacent scale wavelet coefficient, and the edge of image can be detected accurately without preprocessing with this method. The experiment results clearly show that the method is efficient, can improve the positioning accuracy of the image edge and reduce the noise at the same time.
