Abstract
In this paper the variational formulation for solving three-dimensional magnetostatic problems using the two potential method with the separation of the main part of the field is stated. The computing scheme of FEM modeling for this method is described. The calculation scheme, based on Newton method, for solving problems with the coefficient of magnetic permeability dependent on the required magnetic field is given.
