Abstract :
This paper presents an efficient way to implement an interpolation filter in 18bit Σ -Δ DAC. The filter based on multiterm interpolation principle, to over-sample (128x)the audio singal with the sample rate of 48kHz and the resolution of 18 bit. After system simulated in the matlab, implemented with VerilogHDL, the circuit is designed and simulated with Quartus II. The simulation result illustrates it could gain performance satisfactorily.
