Abstract :
The following topics are dealt with: electron collision frequency enhancement and resistive drift wave turbulence, steady state plasma heating, collisional magnetic pumping, continuity equations for partially ionised plasma, ion acoustic waves, electron thermal conductivity enhancement currents in magnetised plasmas, plasma-neutral gas transition, localised electron temperature spike produced by electron cyclotron waves.<>
