Abstract :
A process for forming heat generating multilayer window glass coatings using the vacuum ion-plasma technique is considered. Layers of titanium dioxide, titanium carbonitride /Cu, or stainless steel were deposited on glass, previously cleaned in a glow discharge. The heat output of the films reaches 300 W/m2 for the sun height over the horizon of 30 degrees, the film adhesion being 30 kg/cm2.
