Service Parts Inventory Pooling Based on Periodic Review Model

Service parts logistics is an important field in logistics management, especially on inventory pooling. The paper does a research on models of inventory pooling determination based on (R,S) strategy, According to the expected total cost during the review period, whether to use lateral transshipment or not at each checkpoint is decided and the minimal cost under certain service level is achieved.
