Abstract
Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) had been used widely as delivery agent in medical field to treat cancer [1, 2]. However, more concern should be stress on the side effect or long term effect of CNTs to human health. In this study, carbon nanotube at range of concentration from 1 mg/ml up to 100 pg/ml, was tested to neuroblastoma cells to see the neurotoxicity and neuroprotection effects on it. We manage to get the overview data regarding to neurotoxicity and neuroprotective of carbon nanotubes on cells in vitro. These data can be used for future observation specific onto cells such as apoptosis, cell morphology and reactive oxygen species (ROS) of cell defense mechanism.
