  • Abstract
    This paper introduces the concept of a concrete information tool media for sustainable consumption in Japan. The proposal tool media is referred to as support for both producer and product user to move the sustainable production and consumption. The paper includes a brief description of tool media and the possible ways of its\´ use, where the points are illustrated. The proposed concept is called "Green Point Card System" (GPCS). It is a medium that creates balance among the three poles - economic, environmental and social. It gives to users an opportunity to achieve a more environmental lifestyle through a proactive attitude during purchasing of a product or service.
