Abstract
Providing negotiation capability in self-management environments is a challenging area of research. This paper describes the usage of a negotiation protocol called SLNP (service level negotiation protocol) to achieve an agreement for an end-to-end QoS guarantee across heterogeneous domains using different local QoS models for wireless and wired technologies. SLNP uses Web services technologies to enhance interoperability within autonomic systems interactions.
