Abstract
The literature has presented many cases of successful human interface evaluation strategies. These vary according to when the evaluation occurs, why it happens, who performs it and what the available resources are. Therefore the choice is context dependent. This paper proposes a set of selection criteria, presents a case study in which they were applied, and discusses the effectiveness of choosing a particular method or combination of methods based upon them
