Abstract :
A new paradigm for object recognition, so-called recognition-by-recall (Wu, 1997) has been put forward. It leads new research issues in learning. This paper proposes a learning approach for recognition by recall, based on the basic idea of approximate case-based reasoning as an attempt to reach the targets of the object recognition and the formalism of content-based retrieval
