Abstract
In this paper, a novel folded antenna operating at the frequency band of a TD-SCDMA system is presented. With the technology of spatial bending and parasitic stub loading, the dual frequency operation is realized. At the same time, the radiation principle of PIFA with the parasitic stub is theoretically studied. With the size of 38 times 6 times 7 mm3, the antenna covers the frequency bands of 1880-1920 MHz and 2010-2025 MHz of TD-SCDMA. It embodies the demands of miniaturization, simple structure and dual-band operation of terminal antennas, and can be used at terminals of TD-SCDMA systems.
