Abstract
This paper presents an agent based approach to the coordination of power electronic converters in a system of multiple, multi-functional converters. The goal of the converters is to improve the power quality of the electrical power distribution while guaranteeing other services, such as load feeding. The problem of the partition of control functions between the agents and the device -level controller is addressed.
