Abstract
Progress in the maintenance area has been motivated by the increase in the number, size, complexity, and variety of equipment; growing awareness of the impact of equipment failures. Maintenance Method base on Risk Assessmen (MMRA) is one of the most popular maintenance optimization methods. Research presented in this paper is a pilot study using risk assessmen techniques in Preventive Maintenance (PM). Some key features of the methods are discussed, including the probability of failures, failures factors and economic factors. Based on the research, a preventive maintenance model is established for optimization maintenance decision-making. Finally, the conclusion got from a manufacturing equipment case considering of economic benefits is presented.
