Abstract
This paper introduces a weighted multi-model short-term load forecasting (STLF) system, which effectively combines the conventional models. Many practical techniques are also used to improve the forecasting accuracy. This system has been running on-line on Datong distribution system with satisfactory results and proved to be robust and easy to use
