  • Abstract
In this paper, we desired to evaluate financial performance of container liners. Generally, the evaluation of financial performance is taken into four financial categories that respectively have several financial ratios under fuzzy environment. Thus the evaluation is a fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making(FMCDM) problem with two levels criteria. In past, many researches proposed concerning methods under uncertain environment to evaluate FMCDM problems, such as Chen, Liang, Raj & Kumar, Wang & Lee, and Chou. However, they evaluated FMCDM problems with single level criteria, and resolved the tie of multiplying two fuzzy numbers. Then, Chou proposed a utility representation function of multiplying three trapezoidal fuzzy numbers for FMCDM. As similar as Chou´s research, we will apply a utility representation function of multiplying three triangular fuzzy numbers to derive integrated utility representation. By integrated utility representation values representing total performance indices of varied container liners, we can rank container liners and find an optimal alternative.
