Abstract :
A new method based on Independent Component Analysis (ICA) is proposed to de-noise the differential pressure signal of oil-gas two-phase flow. The ICA-based de-noising method is firstly verified by de-noising two simulated signals with high SNR and low SNR respectively, and then the proposed method is applied to the differential pressure signal of oil-gas two-phase flow. The correlation between the original signal and the de-noised signal is selected as a criterion to evaluate the de-noising effect, and kurtosis, a higher-order statistical quantity, provides another evidence. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the presented method.
