Abstract :
In this paper, the calculation method of the eigen frequencies f and Q-factors Q for the fundamental lowest asymmetrical magnetic oscillation H111 in the WDR and experimental investigations of this resonator in the 3-cm band was presented. Recently the resonance structure on the basis of the evanescent circular waveguide named waveguide-coaxial resonator (WCR) was proposed. The WCR consists of the coaxial line section with the circular waveguide sections connected to its ends. In this connection it is interesting to compare the resonance properties for the WDR and WCR in the same operating frequency band for the fundamental lowest asymmetrical magnetic oscillation H111 and similar geometric structure. In this paper these investigations for the millimeter wavelength band are carried out.
