Abstract :
Gain-clamped EDFA using stimulated Brillouin scattering is used to demonstrate gain-clamping in 10 Gbps based eight-channel WDM. Less than 0.2 dB of receiver sensitivity penalty is observed for add/drop modulation frequency range of 50 Hz to 10 MHz
