    UV-written fibre grating devices have now entered the field of sub-systems and systems like: pump stabilizer; grating with circulator for band-pass filter or OADM; gain equalizers; and chromatic dispersion compensators. The continuous evolution of fibre grating technology in terms of fibre and writing process should allow the development of extremely efficient devices, with extensive use in photonics networks
