Abstract :
To provide health-care services in remote areas through wireless communication requires security of information about the patient. Because the network is a public way to transmit the information and everyone can access the information from it. So, to provide the privacy or security to the information the various encryption techniques have been developed. In this paper the two encryption techniques LFSR - based and chaos-based encryption techniques in spatial and transform domain are discussed. In both techniques the keys for the EEG signal encryption are generated using the LFSR and chaos pseudorandom generators due to the characteristics such as good security, large key space, and randomness, unease prediction and so on. Experimental results and analysis shows that when correct deciphering parameter is put in, these signals will be completely recovered i.e. MSE (mean square error) will be acceptable.
