  • Abstract
This paper studies the performance of a WDM ring architecture with capacity to support a full mesh traffic demand, using OADMs based on arrayed-waveguide grating multiplexers. If the AWG crosstalk is to be less than -35 dB, it is shown that a network supporting 9 nodes is feasible
