Abstract
The dynamic characteristics of a double supply machine (DSM) and asynchronous motor during oscillating model and under current-frequency control were examined based on the mathematical model of the generalized electromechanical converter in the axes alpha, beta, and omicron. The change of the loading parameter was found to influence the change of the transient process period in the DSM at frequency-current modulation as the values of the impact moments and currents remain constant. The time period of the transient process grows with the increase in the moment of inertia. This change in the moment of inertia increases the transient period.
