Abstract
This paper investigates the properties of the nanopowders obtained by the electrical explosion of the metallic conductors (EEMC) to determine the influence of chemically active atmosphere on the properties of Cu powder. To investigate the active gas influence on the structure of the formed nano-powders, the general photos of the powders in different atmospheres were obtained. We concluded that with Cu EEMC in active atmosphere, an increase of the contribution of the diffusion-limited agglomeration in the mechanism of the formation growth of fractal structures occurs. Lastly, it was established that with Cu EEMC in CO2 and N2 a decrease of the aggregates average number and an increase of the agglomerates average number occur.
