Abstract :
We deal with the problem of considering communications as a museum item. We address four topics, rendering guidelines for a future exhibition at the Musee des arts et metiers: the materiality of communications, communications after Shannonpsilas work, information processing as a new paradigm for communications, and eventually the rising of our society of information and communications and some of its (technological) problems.
