Abstract
A new method of calculating signal and noise parameters of linear circuits is based on the nodal circuit approach adapted to facilitate analysis of multiport circuits. Instead of the noise correlation matrix a new efficient matrix description of noise properties, the so called real noise matrix, is used. The new method does not require calculation of the transfer function matrix because the real noise matrix and the admittance matrix are calculated simultaneously. A simulator based on the new method is much faster than a commercial HP MDS simulator
