Abstract :
The paper proposes a new method for high capacitance calibration, which is called series capacitors method, including details of calibration principle, executive procedure and uncertainty analysis of the method for high capacitance from 10μF to 1mF. Because of the traceability and high resolution of the precision capacitance bridge AH2700A, the high capacitance can be calculated by the measurement of standard capacitor, series capacitor and distributed capacitance. The paper also describes the uncertainty analysis of the method, and gives the results of the uncertainty evaluation.
