Abstract :
This paper presents the future reasonable and feasible technology of prognostics and health management (PHM) for the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). Based on the introduction of the System Health Management (SHM) for complex systems, we propose an SHM system framework and architecture for UAV to improve the reliability and maintenance for the complex UAV systems. In this framework, the related state-of-arts, key techniques are analyzed in detail. Finally, the challenges in SHM for UAVs are illuminated.
