  • Abstract
This work describes the use of multimedia modules contained on compact disks to help the student learn fundamental concepts of transport phenomena. The modules also describe commercial processes to manufacture computer chips and synthetic fibers, so the student learns the engineering fundamentals within the context of real-life applications.
