Abstract :
A novel approach controlling the microwave and millimeter wave signal series generated by using a single mode fiber FP cavity with pulse laser injection is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. A general relationship between the maximum signal number generated and birefringence degree of a single mode fiber is derived. The results demonstrate the new concept controlling the signal series of optical microwave and millimeter generation and the technical feasibility.
