Abstract :
A diode structure display device was fabricated by using carbon nanotubes cathode, which was deposited by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition. The display area is 40 mm × 40 mm. Microstructure of the cathode was tested by SEM and Raman spectroscopy. The turn-on field of electron emission from the cathode is lower than 1 v/μm. The current density of the electron emission is 5.1 mA/cm2 at electric field of 4.4 v/μm. The maximum of fluorescent intensity from green phosphor coated on ITO anode is higher than 1 × 103 cd/m2
