Abstract
This paper discusses the engineering requirements and those possible solutions to actually implement the distributed network environment based on TINA (Telecommunications Information Networking Architecture). How to realize fault management of both software and hardware, how to realize effective protocol handling to achieve high throughput to transfer messages and streams, and how to achieve overload tolerance of nodes accommodating DPE (distributed processing environment) servers such as traders, are typical requirements to actually implement distributed systems based on TINA technology. To satisfy these requirements, this paper proposes the use of stream oriented data-driven processors which the authors have been developing, and demonstrates how the data-driven processors can realize the requirement
