Abstract :
A distributed optical fiber sensor (DOFS) system with a sensing distance of 10 km was developed for applications in coal mine temperature measurement and fire alarm. The achieved temperature resolution and uncertainty are 0.1 and ±2°C, respectively. And the spatial resolution and measurement time are 3 m and 12 s, respectively.
