Abstract :
The requirement for secret key management in the UPT system is analyzed in this paper. The concept of a security server is introduced in the proposed key management scheme, which involves key generation, distribution, installation, storage and how to proceed when a key is lost or disclosed. The scheme can be used in UPT phase 1 or later. Compared with the conventional approach, it provides more flexibility of the key management and subscription process in a centralized way, and gives a solution for security data sharing among UPT service providers
