  • Abstract
A new method for modeling surface electrode recorded EMG responses is presented. The advantage of this method is that these potentials are derived using an analytical expression, as opposed to the more standard approach in which the surface electrode is represented as a series of discrete point electrodes. As a result, our method offers significant computational advantages
